Smart Data Studio wins contract to supply the Isle of Wight Music Festival with access control system
Concerns with counterfeiting and fraud at past festivals presented the organizers with a huge problem. Not only was the goodwill of the event being undermined by overcrowding but the local council has become increasingly concerned at the lack of control with the ever increasing numbers of festival goers.
Smart Data Studio’s sister company, Wrist Marketing, are very proud to have won the contract for supplying an access control system that incorporates bar code scanning and recently developed form of lenticular or 3D printing. The 3D effect has been applied to plastic wristbands which are impossible to counterfeit or copy. In conjunction with the scanning of each individual the chances of any fraudulent activities this year are very remote.

Smart Data Studio with NHS Trust Contract.
In association with True Clarity, Smart Data Studio has been awarded a three year contract by the Trusts from Guys & St Thomas’ and Great Ormond Street Hospital to bring on-line a system for evaluating children with autism, ADHD and epilepsy. This three year project was aggressively tendered for by several companies but True Clarity and Smart Data Studio were able to succeed by demonstrating a wide range of core skills associated with IT, design, integration and Norming resources necessary to benchmark from the wider population of children.

With a tight schedule and a complete redesign the new website has already proved its worth with a new client coming to them purely on the strength of the re-launched website www.londoncentralportfolio.com. The back office administration allows non technical staff to update, edit and archive site information. This reduces costs, enhances the sites appeal and keeps the content fresh and relevant.

Completion of the new IROV and COMLOG system for the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain enables their dispensary and pharmacy Inspectors to plan, report, review and archive information on the main database which is located in London. The Inspectors operate throughout the UK and have to comply with a wide range of legal and professional issues – reliable and simple to use access to the main database is essential. The project called for a detailed evaluation of the existing system, development and deployment of a new system and integration with other IT components at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. The project is typical of many instances where databases and applications, established years ago, cannot cope with contemporary needs.
